St Lucia is a dramatic, mountainous island, with the twin peaks of the Pitons rising from the sea near Soufrière. The Pitons Management Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Inland there is rainforest, waterfalls and the Sulphur Springs, while Rodney Bay and Marigot Bay are popular for sailing and dining. Hewanorra Airport is in the south, about ninety minutes from the north of the island.
