Tobago is quieter than many Caribbean islands, with small hotels, quiet beaches and a slower pace of life. Pigeon Point, with its thatched jetty, is the classic beach view.
Glass bottomed boats run out to Buccoo Reef, and the Main Ridge Forest Reserve, protected since 1776, is good for birdwatching. On Sunday nights, Buccoo holds a street party known as Sunday School.
