Indonesia's island of temples, rice terraces, surf beaches and wellness retreats.
Bali's Hindu culture sets it apart from the rest of Indonesia, with temples, offerings and ceremonies everywhere you go. The south has the beaches of Seminyak, Kuta, Jimbaran and Nusa Dua, and the cliff top temple of Uluwatu.
Inland, Ubud is surrounded by rice terraces and is known for its arts, yoga and food. Tanah Lot, on its rock in the sea, is best seen at sunset.
Entry rules for Indonesia depend on your passport and the purpose of your trip, and they can change. Check the official sources below before you book and again shortly before you travel.
