Cookies we always use

These keep the site working, so they need no consent:

• Security check: set after you pass the check on search and booking pages; about 30 minutes.
• Booking session: keeps you in Manage booking during your visit.
• Customer account: keeps you signed in, if you open an account.
• Cookie choice: remembers your cookie choice for 6 months; change it with Cookie settings at the foot of each page.
• Theme: your light or dark choice, kept on your device.
• Recent searches: while you browse, we keep your recent searches in your browser so you can repeat them. If you tick 'Remember my searches on this device', we keep them on this device until you clear them. We store only the places, dates and number of travellers you entered, never prices or personal details. You can remove them at any time with 'Clear recent searches'.
• Animation choice: if you pause the moving parts of the site, your browser remembers it so they stay paused on your next visit. It is set only when you choose it and holds nothing about you.
